The Newtown High School Singers is an after school a cappella vocal group open to all students by audition in grades 9-12.  The Singers perform at festivals and represent the Newtown High School Choral program around the area and the state.  Each year the Singers host the annual Madrigal Dinner, the proceeds of which help to fund the Choral Parents Scholarship, and other endeavors in the Choral Program.  In 2008 the Singers were selected to be an honor’s ensemble at the CMEA All-State Conference.  Also in 2008, the Singers traveled to Walt Disney World where they competed in the Festival Disney competition placing second in their category, earning an “excellent” rating from the judges. 

Singers auditions are held every September and are open to grades 9-12.
